As a young Christian, I will say I am sorry. I do see the hurt that has been done in the name of Jesus. And it does break my heart. I think exposing the hurt the Church has committed is one of the best ways to move forward. And I hope to do my part in loving those (particularly LGBTQ+ community) who have been marginalized in the name of Jesus--because I know that is not who He is.
