Mr. Darcy is amazing! I think I've watched the 2005 version of Pride and Prejudice over 10 times... and read the book more :) I agree that much of his appeal comes from his ability to appreciate and love Elizabeth for exactly who she was, despite how "unconventional" she may have seemed in that day and age.
